Our Mission is to help critically ill children and their families deal with costs associated with catastrophic illness that are not covered by private medical insurance and/or government medical assistance programs.
Our monthly grant program allows each family to focus on what’s really important: their child.
Unlike other organizations, we help cover day-to-day costs (rent, transportation, electric, equipment) that can easily become overwhelming debt for families when trying to ensure their sick child’s quality of life. It’s not uncommon for one parent to have to take extended periods of time away from work (without pay) to accompany the child to a specialized medical center—sometimes across the country—for months at a time. That’s where we come in: responsible families should not have to suffer further by getting behind when they are already faced with a critically ill child and possible tragedy.
Assistance from Jesica's Hope Chest ensures that children have continued access to medical attention they need as well as a home to return to once treatment is finished.
